Copyright Laws in Myanmar.

Copyright Law in Myanmar has existed since 1914, English colonial time. Trade marks, service Marks can be registered as forms of WORDS, MARKS, DEVICES or LOGO. Officisl declaration of ownwership of of a trademark is necessary. Myanmar has had court decisions which had protected IP rights of the Plaintiff of the case of Trade Mark Conflict.
There were some recorded law suits regarding copyright.
There are some laws protecting Intellectula Property rights at present. New IP laws were enacted in Myanmar in 2006. These laws strongly protect IP rights of IP ownership in Myanmar as ASEAN countries. Thus, Myanmar has jurisdiction of IP rights protection.
There are no rules of 'fair use for teachers' clearly in Myanmar.
